Calcium Hydroxide Description
Calcium Hydroxide use for calcium stearate thermal stabilizer PVC
fine white powder, density: 2.24, bulk density: 0.4-0.6, soluble in
acids, slightly soluble in water, insoluble in alcohols, corrosive,
high hygroscopicity.
It is a colorless crystal or white powder and is obtained when
calcium oxide (called lime or quicklime) is mixed, or "slaked" with
water. It has many names including hydrated lime, builders' lime,
slack lime, cal, or pickling lime. Calcium Hydroxide is used in
many applications, including food preparation. Limewater is the
common name for a saturated solution of Calcium Hydroxide.

Calcium Hydroxide Applications:
Calcium hydroxide use for calcium stearate thermal stabilizer
PVC,It is widely used in the synthesis of epoxy chloropropane,
glyphosate, calcium base grease, calcium stearate, calcium
naphthenate, calcium Dodecylbenzene Sulfonate etc.
In the chemical industry for manufacture of calcium stearate
The product can be widely used in Epichlorohydrin, Roundup Ready,
calcium based grease and other organic chemical products,
manufacturing and calcium stearate (for all kinds of PVC
stabilizers and lubricants), naphthenic acid, calcium (a reminder
for the varnish Dry agent, adhesive agent), pesticide emulsifier,
organic phosphorus, pesticides and calcium lactate, calcium citrate
calcium additives, such as the synthesis of high-grade organic.
In the petrochemical industry for manufacturing solid oil of
various marks
In the manufacture of brake pads
In manufacturing the trademarked compound "Polikar", an antifungal
and antimicrobial preservative for vegetables in storage
For preparation of dry mixes for painting and decorating
In manufacturing mixes for pesticides
In the manufacture of ebonite
