Product Details

H08MnA is a kind of carbon constructional steel copper-plated submerged welding wire. It has excellent welding process performance, the electric arc combustion is stable, the weld seam is handsome, the slag is easily removed, and the welding methods and the process requirements such as big line energy multi-layer multi-pass, double-sided single-pass and high-speed welding are met.
Purpose: It is widely applied to welding of carbon steel (for example, Q195, Q215, Q235, etc.) and low-strength alloy steel (for example, 16MnCu, 16Mn, etc.) in boilers, pressure containers, bridges, ships, etc. The used welding fluxes: Fused fluxes: HJ230, HJ330, HJ433, HJ434, etc.; and the sintered fluxes: SJ101, SJ107, SJ201, SJ301, SJ302, SJ501, SJ503, etc.

Precautions:

The welding current should be adjusted according to actual conditions, and if the welding current is too small, the defects such as poor formation, incomplete welding and slag inclusion are caused, and if the welding current is too big, the defects such as poor physical-chemical properties and crack resistance of welded joints, breakout and rough formation of weld seams are caused;

The diameter of welding wires should comply with the size of the electrode nozzle, if the diameter of the electrode nozzle is too big, poor electric conduction, bad formation of weld seams, even arc breaking will be caused;
For those welding wires which are exposed to air and are not used for a long time, their surfaces may have rust, oil, etc. which affect the use of welding wires; the right way is that the surfaces of the welding wires should be completely cleaned before they are used; and for normal welding, those impurities such as oil, rust and water in a welding area should be completely removed;

When the welding wires are used, the inclinations of the welding wire and the workpiece both affect the shape and the depth of fusion of the weld pass, if the welding wire bends forward (it is the uphill welding), the depth of fusion is big, and if the welding wire bends backward (it is the downhill welding), the depth of fusion is small and the width of fusion increases;

The welding flux should be baked and melted at the temperature of between 300 and 500℃ for 2 hours before use;

The welding line energy will directly affect the weld seam performance, so that please pay special attention to it;
For different welding fluxes are used by users and welding pieces and process also differ, it is recommended that before the welding wires and the welding fluxes are used, the selected welding fluxes and welding wires need welding process evaluation so as to better meet users’ demands.

Moving and Storage of Welding Wires
When welding wires are moved, the welding wires should be handled with care to avoid breaking, bumping and falling, which may cause deformation or loosening of welding wires to affect the wire feeding performance;
Welding wires should be kept away from water and fire and are not high-temperature resistant, so that please pay more attention when they are stored;
When the welding wires are stored in a warehouse, the welding wires should be kept more than 30cm away from the wall and orderly placed according to specifications and models in order to prevent misuse, and the use of welding wires should observe the principle of “first-in first-out”.
