The VersaArt RE-640 is equipped with the latest print head technology, featuring variable dot control for fast, flawless printing. Its unique design produces droplets of seven different sizes which captures the intricate details in your image. The result is high-density printing with vibrant colours, flawless photographic reproduction, smooth gradations and superb contrast.
For higher print quality at faster speeds, the RE-640 features a dual CMYK, mirrored print head (MYCKKCYM) that virtually eliminates banding during bi-directional printing. This configuration allows the machine to deliver high quality and consistent colour, even in the fastest print mode (23.1m²/hr)
Roland Intelligent Pass Control technology, developed by Roland
software engineers, represents the pinnacle of inkjet printing.
This patent-pending system precisely controls dot placement between
passes and delivers unprecedented imaging performance in all
resolutions. The technology actually enhances image quality at
higher print speeds thereby increasing productivity. As a result,
the RE-640 produces smooth gradations and flawless
solid colours while achieving faster throughput with
virtually no banding in all print modes.
Eco-Sol Max ink is a remarkable ink technology which enhances the performance of the VersaArt RE-640. Powerful and versatile, Eco-Sol Max ink boasts an incredibly fast drying time, robust scratch resistance, a wide colour gamut and excellent durability. Ideal for both indoor and outdoor graphics Eco-Sol Max is suited for use on a wide range of coated and uncoated media, including backlit film and is water and UV resistant up to 3 years outdoors for CMYK graphics.
