BKP1104 Aramid fiber packing
Braided from high quality Dupont aramid (Kevlar) yarns with PTFE
dispersion impregnated and lubricant additive.This packing shows
good chemical resistance,high elasticity and very low cold flow.
they can resist more serve media and higher pressure. It can be
installed separately or as end rings with other kinds of packing to
combine different characteristics into packing set.
BKP1104a Aramid fiber packing with lubricant
It is braided from high quality texturised Dupont aramid (Kevlar)
yarns which are uniformly impregnated with PTFE dispersion and
lubricated with a silicone-based compound. Without impregnation, an
extremely durable,highly abrasive resistant packing.It is an idea
for slurry service application.
BPK1104b Spun aramid fiber packing
Braided from economical aramid yarns which are spun from Dupon
aramid (Kevlar) fibers added with other selected fibers and
impregnated with PTFE. The characteristic is similar with aramid
fiber packing, but the harm to the shaft is less.
Application:
Aramid fiber braided packing is a durable packing able to withstand
granular and abrasive applications. it can be used for pumps inall
types of industry such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceutical,
food industries,pulp and paper mills, power stations
etc.recommended for serving in superheated steam,solvents,
liquefied gases,and other abrasive fluids.For hot water
applications it can be used uncooled with temperature up to 160°C.
Can be used as stand-alone packing or in combination with other
packings as anti-extrusion ring.
