Walking device:

The walking device is the chassis, including the track frame and the walking system, which is mainly composed of the track frame, the walking motor + reducer and its pipeline, the driving wheel, the guide wheel, the supporting wheel, the roller, the track and the tensioning buffer device. Its function is to support the weight of the excavator and convert the power transmitted by the driving wheel into traction, so as to realize the whole machine walking.
The frame assembly (i.e., the crawler walking frame assembly) is an integral welded component with an X-shaped structure. Its main advantage is its high carrying capacity. The frame assembly is welded in three parts: the left rail (i.e. the left track frame), the main frame (i.e. the middle frame), and the right rail (i.e. the right track frame). The weight of the frame components is 2 tons.
The central rotary joint is a hydraulic component that connects the rotary platform to the chassis oil circuit. It ensures that the driving motor can distribute oil normally even after the rotating platform is rotated at any Angle. The current rotary joint is 5 way.

• Greater resistance. Making liners separately from the engine block allows the use of special higher performance materials than those used for the construction of the block itself. Liners are generally made in special cast iron alloys containing elements with natural lubricating properties, like graphite. Other components are added like chrome, vanadium, and molybdenum to help ensure resistance to corrosion and wear caused by high temperatures.

• Easier maintenance. When liners are worn they can be replaced more easily than changing an entire cylinder block.

• Higher thermal conductivity. At operating temperatures the liners heat up more than the cylinders and must be able to expand in both diameter and length. If they were cast together with the cylinders, the resulting thermal loading would be high enough to fracture the materials.

• Less risk of defects. The more complex a casting, the more difficult it is to achieve perfectly even surfaces with low residual stresses.
