NC feeder and roller feeder are the two most popular feeding
equipments in the stamping industry, because a large part of the
scope of these two feeders overlap.
The NC feeder has four significant performance advantages over the roller feeder:
1. The NC feeder has a wider application range and a higher degree
of customization.
Roller feeders and NC feeders are often referred to as
general-purpose mainstream feeders, but their scope of application
has certain limitations. In particular, roller feeders are subject
to obvious transmission requirements due to their transmission
principle limitations.
The use of the roller feeder First, the punch must have an output shaft, the second is that the
material width is less than 400mm, the thickness is within 3.5mm,
the feeding step is below 300mm, and there is basically no custom
model.
The NC feeder has no such restrictions at all, with a maximum width
of 1500mm and a thickness of 6.0mm, and is completely independent
of the step size and matching punch.
According to the actual stamping characteristics, there are thick
plate powerful NC feeders and yaw type NC feeders, which are
available for customers to choose.
2. The NC feeder has higher feeding precision and better stability.
The roller feeder adopts mechanical transmission. Due to the
influence of the gap of the output shaft and the coordination of
the transmission components, the feeding accuracy can only be
guaranteed within ±0.05mm, while the NC feeder is different.
The servo motor directly drives the feeding roller through the
synchronous pulley, and the relaxation and feeding action is
provided by the punching cam, and the feeding is accurate and the
synchronization is high, and is not interfered by external factors.
Feeding accuracy is guaranteed to be within ±0.02mm and even up to
±0.01mm for short-distance high-speed feeding.
3. debugging, easier to operate, labor intensity is smaller,
increasing the effective working time.
Before using the feeder, it is necessary to carry out the inching
test machine according to the actual matching mold, and debug the
material width, thickness and feeding step to carry out continuous
stamping production.
The adjustment of the step is one of the most important ones. The
adjustment of the step of the roller feeder needs to adjust the
eccentric disk mounted on the output shaft of the punching machine,
which is not only complicated to adjust, but also has the influence
of the clearance of the output shaft and the inertia of the brake.
After adjusting the inching step, it is necessary to adjust
according to the actual experience to achieve the actual step
required for continuous stamping. This work must be done by
professional technicians.
The NC feeder does not need to consider so many factors at all. It
only needs to be easily set on the 7-inch Weilun touch screen,
which is simple to set up and saves time and effort.
4. multi-stage feeding, to meet the needs of diversified
production.
The customer's production needs are not constant. In many cases, a
multi-stage stamping process is required. This type of process can
only be satisfied by the NC feeder.
