Working Principle
Electromagnetic induction and magnetic field interaction
The working principle of a covered pole motor is mainly based on
electromagnetic induction and magnetic field interaction. twelve
This type of motor is a type of single-phase AC motor,
characterized by the magnetic poles of the stator (i.e. the
external part of the motor) being partially shielded by one or more
short-circuit rings (also known as "shield rings" or "shadow
rings"). When the stator winding is connected to a single-phase AC
power supply, alternating magnetic flux is generated in the stator
core. These magnetic flux lines pass through the short-circuit ring
and generate induced current in the short-circuit ring. Due to the
presence of short-circuit loops, the magnetic flux is different in
quantity from the unshielded part, and also lags behind the
magnetic flux of the unshielded part in phase. This difference
leads to the formation of a pulsating approximately rotating
magnetic field in the motor air gap.
This rotating magnetic field cuts the rotor (i.e. the rotating part
inside the motor) and generates induced current in the rotor
winding. The interaction between the rotor winding carrying current
and the rotating magnetic field of the stator generates a starting
torque, causing the rotor to start rotating. The rotation direction
of the rotor is usually in the direction from the unshaded part to
the shielded part.

Structure

component is mainly composed of a short-circuit ring and the main

coil, frame, wire or thermal It consists of a protector and related
insulating wrapping materials; according to the different
installation positions of the axial extension end and the non-axial
