BTJG-I Forensic evidence laser detector

Purpose

A. Excite fluorescence of biological evidence: seminal stain, vaginal secretion, dandruff, bones, saliva stain, urine stain and sweat stain. First illuminate the evidence with blue laser, and the evidence can produce strong fluorescence. If the background produces fluorescence under blue laser, the background fluorescence will interfere with the observation of evidence fluorescence. Illuminating the evidence with green laser can eliminate background fluorescence and significantly improve the observation effect of evidence fluorescence.

B. The amino acid in old fingerprints will convert into fluorescent substances over time, which can be excited by laser. First illuminate the evidence with blue laser, if the background produces fluorescence, irradiate with green laser to eliminate background fluorescence. Especially suitable for exciting old sweat fingerprints on white walls.

C. Both blue and green lasers can excite the fluorescence of grease components in fingerprints.

D. Amino acid in sweat fingerprints converts into fluorescent substances after heat treatment, and laser can be used to excite the fluorescence. First illuminate the evidence with blue laser, if the background produces fluorescence, irradiate with green laser to eliminate background fluorescence.

H. Superglue vapor-treated fingerprints dyed with Rhodamine 6G, BBD, and acidic fluorescein can be excited with blue laser.

Features

A. The switch of laser unit is controlled by the touch screen. Turn on the safety key, the touch key will light and show information: “turn on the laser” button and “light intensity adjust” button [Bule] [Green] [+] [-],the output power of the laser, battery remaining capacity, the operation instruction of laser unit. Completely operate according to the instruction.

B. While the 445nm barrier filter goggles completely prevent the blue laser, they will not produce fluorescence themselves and will not interfere the fluorescence of evidence; while the 520nm barrier filter goggles completely prevent the green laser, they will not produce fluorescence themselves and will not interfere the fluorescence of evidence. If the barrier filter goggles produce the fluorescence themselves, viewers will see hazily.

C. 445nm blue laser photographic filter and 520nm green laser photographic filter are interference filters, which will not produce fluorescence themselves and will not interfere the fluorescence of evidence. If the filters produce the fluorescence themselves, viewers will see hazily.

D. Set the switch of light-pipe without connecting the light-pipe, the laser cannot be output. This function ensures that the laser unit will not output dangerous thin light beam. The laser can only be output by light-pipe and expander, which will not harm human body.

Operating methods

A. Turn on the safety key, the touch key will light and show information.

B. If the emergence stop switch turn off, the touch screen will prompt “Please turn on the emergence stop switch”. After turn on the switch, the prompt will disappear. The laser will not output without turn on the emergence stop switch.

C. If the light-pipe not connected, the touch screen will prompt “Please connect the light-pipe”. After connect the light-pipe, the prompt will disappear. The laser will not output without connect the light-pipe.

D. If turn on the emergence stop switch and connect the light-pipe, the touch screen show” Please turn the switch of laser”

E. Choose [Blue]button will produce bule laser. Choose [+] or[-]can adjust the laser intensity.

F. Press the [Blue]button again, blue laser will be turn off.

G. Choose [Green]button will produce bule laser. Choose [+] or[-]can adjust the laser intensity.

H. Press the [Green]button again, green laser will be turn off.

I. When output blue laser, press [Green] button will immediately switch to output green laser.

G. When output green laser, press [Blue] button will immediately switch to output blue laser.

Applied range

A. Stimulate the fluorescence of physical evidence

Use 445nm blue laser irradiate the physical evidence and observe the fluorescence of physical evidence with blue laser filter goggles. Physical evidence like sweat stain, seminal stain, dandruff, bones, urine stain and saliva stain, etc. can output strong fluorescence. When observe the fluorescence of physical evidence, the blue laser photographic filter can be installed in front of the lens, then photograph the physical evidence.

Use 445nm blue laser irradiate the physical evidence, if the background produces strong

fluorescence, the contrast effect of the fluorescence of physical evident will be weakened or completely be eliminated. At this point, 520nm green laser can be used for irradiating the physical evidence and observe the fluorescence with green laser filter goggles. In the vast majority of cases, fluorescence of background will be weakened or completely be eliminated, but the fluorescence of physical evidence will be stronger. Install the green laser photographic filter in front of the lens and photograph the physical evidence.

The ability of 445nm blue laser to stimulate the fluorescence of physical evidence is higher than 520nm green laser, but the ability to stimulate the fluorescence of background is also higher than 520nm. Therefore, the usage of 445nm blue laser should according to the background of object.

B. Stimulate the fluorescence of sweat stain and blood after treatment of targeted reagent

Spray the targeted reagent on objects that may have sweat stain or blood. After 20 minutes, use 520nm green laser for irradiating the physical evidence and observe with green laser filter goggles, and the fluorescence of sweat stain and blood can be observed. The fluorescence intensity can be enhanced by heating the evidence with electric hair drier or extending the reaction time.

C. Stimulate the fluorescence of old sweat fingerprint

When use the 445nm blue laser or 520nm green laser irradiate the physical evidence and observe with filter goggles, the fluorescence of old sweat fingerprint can be seen. If the fingerprint is heated, the fluorescence intensity will be significantly enhanced.

D. Stimulate the fluorescence of fingerprint after heating

When sweat fingerprints on writing paper, envelopes and delivery bags are heated by “paper sweat fingerprint thermally induced fluorescence display device”, the fluorescence can be observed by observation box of display device. If use 445nm blue laser or 520nm green laser irradiate the paper, the fluorescence of fingerprint will have batter effect, because the intensity of laser is much higher than the light intensity in observation box.

E. Stimulate the fluorescence of fingerprint treated by DFO, 1,2 indanedione and Rhodamine 6G
