Product Description:

The LC100-A is a test function of electrolytic capacitor from 1 uF to 100 mF with all the characteristics. The three basic positions plus all other positions have automatic range. This product is superior in the tests with respect to sales of finished products in the market of inductance capacitance meters (such as the 6243 series), because of its precision and minimum resolution. Moreover, the flexible calibration Online allows to maintain the accuracy of the measurements. The instrument does not use any potentiometer adjustment. All the calibration parameters are stored completely in the Micro-controller. The internal flash power is not lost.

image of LC100-AThe test of the LC100-A went beyond the ordinary capacitors of the range of the table. The capacity of 28.7 mF was attached to the measure of the large capacitor 1 uF to 100 mF, and the resolution reached 0.01 pF. We must pay attention to the effects of the test clip, normalizing to 0 and then keeping the relative position of the test clip in the capacitor unchanged. This same approach applies to the tests of the small inductance. For example, it took about 4 turns of wire wound to get 0.058 uH result which was equivalent to 58 nH for an instrument of the 6243 series which is inductive and absolutely undetectable.

We also had the opportunity to test a capacitor with 0.22 uF. The results were very stable, thus showing the stbility of the capacitor and its good capacitive screen. The black button can be used to measure both inductance and capacitance.

The LC100-A model is perfect for accurate measurements. It features a precise measurement accuracy of 1%, as well as a wide capacitance measurement range of 0.01 pF - 100 mF with a minimum resolution of 0.01 pF. The inductance range is from 0.001 uH to 100 mH, with a minimum resolution of 0.001 uH and a wide inductance measurement range from 0.001 mH to 100 H with a minimum resolution of 0.001mH. Test frequencies can be set for capacitors and small inductors around 500 kHz or large inductors around 500 Hz, and the user can clearly see the current test frequency. The LCD has an effective digit display of 4 and a 1602 screen. Power is supplied over a Mini USB interface or a 5 V power supply. Its metal and plastic construction ensures reliable and stable SMD welding.
