Product Description
A hydraulic tester is used to perform leaking and hydraulic pressure test on ERW or spiral welded pipes. The test involves sealing the two ends of the pipe, and filling the pipe with a liquid, usually water, which may be dyed to aid in visual leak detection, and pressurization of the vessel to the specified test pressure. Pressure tightness can be tested by shutting off the supply valve and observing whether there is a pressure loss. Huaye hydraulic tester reaches API standard.
2. Differences between an ERW and spiral welded pipe tester
Longitudinal weld pipe hydraulic tester employs outside diameter’s
sealing or sealing for big gaps; hydraulic tester for spiral
welding pipes uses polyurethane to seal the pi[e end faces, and has
the system to keep balance of oil and water.
Hydraulic System
The hydraulic oil in the tank through the motor drives the high-pressure pump into the oil flows through a check, high-pressure oil filters, differential pressure valve set, servo valves, into the oil cylinder. Computer control signals to the servo valve, the control, and direction of the servo valve opening to control the flow into the cylinder to achieve constant test force, constant displacement control. through the tubing, pressure tubing through, and the oil return valve to the tank.
