Biogas boilers utilize biogas from existing anaerobic reactors in wastewater treatment plants. It generates steam for the production process. The heat recovery system collects excess heat from the wort boiling process and uses it in the wort preheating process.

Biogas boilers burn biomethane gas to generate heat. Unlike traditional gas boilers, biogas does not require any treatment before it is fired in our biogas boiler solutions, so they work seamlessly with your AD plant.

The thermal energy generated can be used to provide heating or cooling. Capable of producing 85˚c – 95˚c hot water or pressurized steam for over 7,500 hours per year – that’s an impressive 85% availability.
