High Quality Landfill Leachate Storage Tanks by Glass Fused to Steel
Leachate is liquid collected in landfills after rainfall. Rainwater leaches pollutants from waste in landfills. Because of high levels of pollution, including ammonia and other pathogens, leachate poses serious environmental risks not only to public sewer systems and sewage treatment, but also to streams, rivers and lakes. Landfill leachate and liquid storage tanks are therefore an important specific application recognized by the Waste Management Team.
The enamel frit and the original steel are fused together by two coatings and two heat treatments at 800-900℃ to achieve the optimal combination of steel strength and flexibility with the corrosion resistance of the glass. For use on internal and external surfaces, central enameled glass fused steel provides years of trouble-free service in harsh environments.
