Increasingly AD is being used to make the most of our waste by turning it into renewable energy . For example in large dairies , it will accur odor and water pollution, anaerobic digestion reduces the odor and liquid waste disposal problems and produces a biogas fuel that can be used for process heating and/or electricity generation .
