marine concrete floater is used for floating concrete pier. The
floater consists of a veined surface board, which is made of
concrete with standard reinforcing bars and supported by floating
foamed-polystyrene core, and a glass fibre reinforced-cement shell
enclosing the floating core. The veined surface board is formed by
pouring a layer of concrete with standard reinforcing bars onto the
veined wooden board in the mould. The float component is put on the
cast surface board and is sprayed with a layer of glass-fibre
reinforced cement before the solidification of the concrete
component, so s to produce the floater integrally. After that, all
the concrete components solidify to form an integral floater.
