Woven glide bushings for hydro turbines are specialized components designed to provide smooth and reliable operation in the demanding environment of hydroelectric power generation. These bushings are typically made from high-performance materials that can withstand the high pressures, velocities, and potential for water-borne contaminants present in hydro turbine systems.
The woven construction of these bushings offers several advantages. It allows for greater flexibility and conformity to irregular surfaces, providing a more uniform distribution of load and wear. Additionally, the woven design can also help trap and distribute lubricating fluids, further enhancing the bushings' wear resistance and durability.
In hydro turbine applications, woven glide bushings are often used in bearings, seals, and other critical components. They play a vital role in ensuring the efficient and reliable operation of the turbine, which in turn contributes to the overall performance and longevity of the hydroelectric power plant.
When selecting woven glide bushings for hydro turbines, it is important to consider factors such as the specific operating conditions of the turbine, the materials of construction, and the required durability and performance. Consulting with a trusted supplier or manufacturer can help ensure that you select the optimal bushings for your specific application.
Proper installation and maintenance of woven glide bushings are also crucial for their long-term performance. Ensuring that the bushings are properly aligned, pressed into their housings without excessive force, and lubricated according to the manufacturer's recommendations can help maximize their service life and prevent premature failure.
In summary, woven glide bushings for hydro turbines are essential components that play a key role in ensuring the reliable and efficient operation of hydroelectric power plants. Selecting the appropriate bushings, installing them correctly, and maintaining them properly are critical to achieving optimal performance and longevity.
The ability of Stainless steel /316+bronze +PTFE/ fabric Woven bearings to work in both dry and wet conditions without grease lubrication means they are used in a wide variety of applications within the Hydropower industry.

It is mainly used in the high-temperature production lines, construction machinery,
automobile chassis parts, ball valve, butterfly valve, water pump,
chemical industry and high-speed train and other heavy load and low speed but can not refuel occasions.
Stainless steel /316+bronze +PTFE/ fabric Woven
The material is made of all kinds of high-quality metals, and the surface is covered with PTFE and other additives, which are low friction and friction-resistant fabric materials. This material structure has a higher carrying capacity, high-temperature resistance, and longer service life than the general three-layer composite material. The base material is low carbon steel, stainless steel 316, etc. It is mainly used in the high-temperature production line, construction machinery, automobile chassis parts, ball valve, butterfly valve, water pump, chemical industry, and high-speed train and other heavy load and low speed but can not refuel occasions.

1.Low friction coefficient
2.Use in both dry and wet conditions
3.High compressive strength
4.Low water swell
5.Self-lubricating
Material choice for plain bearings is far greater than for ball and
roller bearings owing to the need to find material that can support
self-lubricating bearings parts, provide bases that are softer than
shaft journals, provide plain bearing composite material, etc. Load and speeds play a big role in determining materials, as do
environmental conditions. Dry-running plastic bushings are favored in pharmaceutical and
food packaging where oil and metal are considered potentially
harmful if they can contaminate the products. Stainless Steel
Backed Lubricated Bushing can sometimes be used in marine
applications where ptfe fabric layer serves as a lubricant .
Stainless Steel Bushings Kevlar Liner Material Strips TEX PTFE Fiberglass Lined is the traditional material for hydrodynamic
bearings used in turbomachines. Materials for sleeve bearings are often composed of alloys of
steel backed bronze bushing, which satisfy the various requirements
of lubrication and resiliency.
Stainless steel fabric bushings, this kind of bushings widely used in valve, oil, chemistry,
metallurgy. It has flexible bearings, no maintenance, low installation accuracy, good shock absorption
and impact resistance. Low noise characteristics, and due to the
high strength of the fiber material and the support of the steel
back, it has the unique advantage of high load capacity. In general sports, it is advisable to maintain proper clearance
between the inner hole and the shaft. The size of the gap can be
referred to the type product. The outer diameter of the
bearing and the seat hole are generally interference fit. The
interference can also be referred to the type product.
Metal matrix fabric composite sheet has more flexibility than
general rigid bearings due to the 0.25mm thickness of fiber cloth
lubrication layer. In some low-speed rocking motions, the bearing
inner hole and the pin shaft can be used without gaps or even
interference. Cooperate, this can better exert its shock absorption
and low noise performance; such bearings are mainly used in
low-speed, heavy-duty oil and grease lubrication, and can also be
used in oil-free lubrication.
TEX bearing use the PTFE fibres fabric and aramid fiber overlay on metal backings, the fabric have
very high load capacity and high accuracygood run with low speed and
heavy friction superior performance
Polytetrafluoroethylene fiber PTFE/Kevlar
VIIPLUS TEX ptfe fiber metal base self-lubricating bearing is a
self-lubricating composite bearing material made of high-quality
low-carbon steel plate, bronze plate or stainless steel plate as
the matrix, with the woven fabric of ptfe fiber as the friction
surface layer.
The two are rolled into sliding bearing by means of a solid bond of
structural adhesive. In order to guarantee the bonding strength
between ptfe fiber and metal sheet, the woven fabric is made of
special ptfe filament and aramid filament.
The bearing has the characteristics of high bearing capacity, good
wear resistance, suitable temperature, wide range of medium, simple
structure, compact size and good stability.
Polytetrafluoroethylene (ptfe) is a kind of self-lubricating
material with excellent performance. But the wear resistance is poor
because of the low strength. At present, most of the fibers or other
fillers are used to improve the wear resistance, the effect is very
limited. And polytetrafluoroethylene fiber has tensile strength 15
times higher than pure polytetrafluoroethylene resin, to make up
for the lack of this aspect, wear resistance is greatly improved, at the same time, the fiber
also avoids the occurrence of cold flow phenomenon of
polytetrafluoroethylene resin.
Polytetrafluoroethylene fiber metal base self-lubricating bearings
are divided into steel base, copper base and stainless steel base
three.
