Pile driver bushings
Pile driver is used to driving piles into the soil to provide foundation support for buildings or other structures. The term is also used to refer to a construction worker working with a piling rig. One type of pile driver USES heavy weights placed between guide rails to enable vertical sliding. It sits on top of a pile. Weight gain, which may involve hydraulic, steam, diesel, or manual labor use. When the weight reaches its highest point, it is released and hits the pile, driving it into the ground.

Metal-Polymer Self-lubricating and Maintenance-free Bearing Solutions
Suitable for rotating and oscillating movements, less maintenance due to long lubrication intervals, less wear, less sensitive to edge loads, no water absorption and therefore no swelling, good shock absorption, good impact resistance.
POM composite plain bearings are suitable for applications that
require minimal maintenance in difficult operating conditions. As a
result of the lubricant holding pockets on the sliding surface, POM
composite bearings are especially suitable for applications in
contaminated environments, where the lubricant cannot be supplied
continuously or frequently.
1. POM thickness 0.30 ~ 0.50 mm. Providing high wear resistance and low friction even with a minimal volume of lubricant, this bearing surface has a pattern of circular indentations which should be filled with grease during bearing assembly.
2. Thickness of sintered bronze powder 0.20-0.35 mm. A special composition of powdered copper is thermally fused to the steel support. This contact layer acts as an anchor for the PTFE layer and moves heat build-up away from the bearing surfaces.
3. Low carbon steel. Establishing the base of the bushings, the steel back provides exceptional characteristics of stability, load and heat dissipation.

The holes must be filled with lubricating grease during initial assembly |
POM composite bushings are suitable for applications where a sliding material with self-lubricating properties is essential.
POM composite plain bearings are designed for marginal lubrication. The sliding surface of these plain bearings contains grease reservoirs that must be filled before assembly. There is no need to re-lubricate these plain bearings, but the presence of lubricant can significantly extend the service life of the plain bearings. Grease may be applied periodically to protect the counterface from corrosion.
