VIIPLUS cylindrical roller bearings are available in a wide range of models, series, variants, and sizes. The main design differences are the number of rows of rollers and the inner/outer ring flanges as well as the designs and materials of the cages.
Bearings can meet the challenges of applications facing high radial loads and high speeds. Adapted to axial displacement (with the exception of bearings with flanges on the inner and outer rings), they offer high rigidity, low friction, and long service life.

Cylindrical roller bearings are also available in sealed or split designs. In sealed bearings, the rollers are protected from contaminants, water and dust, while providing lubricant retention and contaminant exclusion. This provides lower friction and longer service life. Split bearings are intended primarily for bearing arrangements which are difficult to access, such as crankshafts, where they simplify maintenance and replacements.

Roller & Cylindrical Bearings are a type of rolling-element bearing that uses cylinders (rollers) to maintain the separation between the moving parts of the bearing (as opposed to using balls as the rolling element). The purpose of cylindrical bearings is to reduce rotational friction and support radial and axial loads. Compared to ball bearings, roller bearings can support heavy radial loads and limited axial loads (parallel to the shaft). They can operate at moderate to high speeds (although maximum speeds are typically below the highest speeds of ball bearings). Cylindrical Roller Bearings probably have the simplest construction in the roller bearings category. These bearings are suitable for carrying relatively higher loads, at high-speed applications.
The rollers of VIIPLUS cylindrical roller bearings are key components. Their geometry, the so-called logarithmic profile, provides an optimum stress distribution in the contact zones in the bearing. Their surface finish maximizes lubricant film formation and optimizes rolling motion of the rollers. The benefits derived from this compared with traditional designs include enhanced operational reliability and a greater insensitivity to misalignment.
These bearings are suitable for applications involving light axial loads, specifically where accurate alignment of shaft is difficult. Cylindrical Roller Bearings available with two bore types, i.e. cylindrical and taper. Their cages are made of either pressed steel or brass material.
