Reducing valve friction was the objective. To achieve the customer’s buying request, VIIPLUS CHINA recommended an alternative stem sleeve bushing material, and our TEX fabric bearings and thrust washers. The friction reduction was so great that the customer was able to use a smaller actuator, saving them money and making the valve more competitive in the market.

Gliding bearings are used in ball valves and butterfly valves for the trunion guide bushes and stem bearings. Standard and special size sliding bearings are supplied in stainless steel 316 and 304 steel. glide PTFE bearings are used in applications for clean and waste water. This is due to glide bushings low friction performance and almost no stick slip.

Metric Sized Journal Bearings & Bushing Model :VIIPLUS coiled steel journal bearings are designed to meet industry standards for self-lubricating bushings. They provide all of the advantages of bushings at minimum cost. Carbon steel is normaly used as a backing material, with the external surface plated to resist corrosion. Other metals can be supplied upon special order. Typical applications include automotive vehicles, farm equipment, contruction and material handling equipment. Description

VIIPLUS bushes are produced in a lightweight, compact material with minimum bulk, simplifying shaft assembly. Featuring high-level chemical resistance, shafts can be covered or plated with materials resistant against chemically aggressive liquids, gas or solids, through the application of an additional galvanic layer. This type of bush does not require lubrication and its operating temperature is between -195°C and +280°C.
