Product Description
Cellulite, or its medical term, “gynoid lipodystrophy,” is a
condition where skin in one or more areas of the body begins to
take on a dimpled, bumpy appearance.
Cellulite begins to show up as we age, partly due to the decrease
in collagen production and loss of elasticity in the skin. Once
collagen levels drop, internal collagen fibers loosen and the
underlying framework which supports the skin begins to loosen
(sag), as well.
Specifically, cellulite is the result of enlarged fat cells that
become lodged under the skin. When the fat cells get bigger and get
trapped under the skin, the skin begins to bulge outward, which is
why the skin takes on that dimpled, bumpy effect.
The enlarged fat cells also block and restrict blood flow, which
not only present circulation problems, but cause the fat cells to
form even more clusters underneath the skin.As the outer skin layer
begins to thin out, usually due to age, and the fat cells continue
to form clusters, the result once again is an irregular, dimpled or
bumpy appearance.
The good news is that according to case studies, it has been
medically proven that a treatment therapy known as Extracorporeal
Shockwave Therapy (ESWT) has been shown to reduce and improve the
appearance of cellulite.
This treatment option was originally used to treat chronic pain in
joints, muscles and other painful injuries. Those suffering from
these chronically painful injuries received ESWT and most reported
that after only a few treatments, there was marked improvement in
mobility, healing and pain management.
After further testing, ESWT has shown exciting evidence towards
demonstrating real, measurable improvement in the treatment of
cellulite reduction.
After A Series Of Treatments, The Positive Results From ESWT May
Help:
- Reduce the production and look of cellulite
- Break down enlarged fat cells
- Restore connective tissue
- Improve muscle tone
- Improve skin elasticity
- Promote lymphatic drainage (elimination of toxins/waste)
- Improve blood flow/circulation
- Promote increased production of collagen
- Reduce the appearance of stretch marks and scars
- Tighten, firm and smooth out loose skin
Smartwave BS-SWT2X , ESWT shock wave therapy equipment, also called
Acoustic Wave Therapy Equipment. It's widely used in physiotherapy
center, physical clinic, male sexual clinic ect.
With different tips, the BS-SWT2X shockwave therapy system can
cover most typical applications includes Physiotehrapy, Sports
injury, Rehabitation, Male penile therapy, Erectile Dysfucntion and
Peyronie's disease treatment ect.
BS-SWT2X Smartwave uses the latest electric-magnetic technology,
without air-compressor, so comes with longer lifecycle, at the same
time it can provide higher energy and frequency for better
treatment result. From technical view, BS-SWT2X can reach energy
from 10mJ (0.25Bar) to 190mJ (5Bar), adjustable at stepping
10mJ(0.25Bar). Frequency ranges from 1Hz to 22Hz adjustable.
From the view of transmitter, BS-SWT2X has 5 different alloy made
transmitters targeting to different depth and treatment disease. It
includes 6mm, 15mm, 15mm unfocused, 25mm, 36mm, which covers most
applications for physical treatments as well as aesthetics
treatments.
FAQ
The results were an amazing average reduction in pain of 92% with
only one treatment. (This data reflects the results of all patients
treated in the study one year after receiving one treatment with
the Dornier EPOS ESWT machine).
- What signs indicate this therapy is needed?
Shock wave therapy may treat conditions such as degenerated tendons
(Achilles tendonitis), heel pain (plantar fasciitis) and tennis
elbow (lateral epicondylitis).
- When should I Consider ESWT?
If you have had your condition for more than six months and have
tried three conservative therapies with no results, do not wait any
longer to seek help. It is natural to procrastinate, but not a good
idea for tendonitis conditions, since continuously using
degenerative tendon tissue can cause further damage.
- When should I avoid this therapy?
Complications are infrequent with shock wave therapy. People who
have poor sensation (neuropathy) or hypersensitivity in the target
area should not have this procedure. Open sores should also be
avoided. Shock wave therapy is not used in patients with heart
conditions or seizures. It should not be used during pregnancy.
This should be discussed with your physician before undergoing the
procedure.
- Am I a candidate for Shockwave Therapy?
The following criteria must all be meet before treatment may begin:
1. You have been diagnosed with a condition that Shockwave Therapy
has been demonstrated effective in treating. (Either from our
doctor, your family doctor, or surgeon). 2. There are no
significant or serious side effects or contraindications. 3.
Surgery is the only other viable alternative. 4. Conservative
treatments have failed or did not work. 5. You understand the
procedure, costs and other factors involved in your program of
treatment.
- Does Shockwave Therapy Hurt?
Previous generations of Shockwave Therapy machines caused
considerable pain that a local anesthetic was required. The
shockwave technology Back In Motion utilizes does not generally
cause any significant discomfort and there is NO local anesthetic
required. Many patients describe their treatment as "mild
sensation" to "moderately uncomfortable" but few report any
significant or lasting pain.
