PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
LT-304 SABS, 164-1 SABS approved, is a kind of South Africa power cord plug. It is rated up to 16A 250V, built to SABS standards and designed for any South Africa power cord applications. Our South Africa SABS power cord products are fully molded with a low profile ergonomic design and RoHS compliant.
The plug and connector are approved by the South African Bureau Of Standards (SABS) for quality and electrical safety. This India/South Africa power cord is suitable for a range of electrical power applications with a matching inlet and outlet.
The cord is made of PVC (polyvinyl chloride) for strength and resistance to corrosion, and has a temperature rating of 70 degrees C. It conforms to the European HD-21 cable standard and meets Restriction of Hazardous Substances (RoHS) requirements. • Power Cord Cabling
In order to cover the inner wire and reduce its dimension, regularly we strand several core lines into round shape. The stranding way of these wires is the same as the conductor’s. Cabling technology requires: first, avoid twisting of power cord caused by core wire’s turning over; second, avoid scratching on the insulating layer.
Part of the power cord has another two steps: one is padding which makes power cord rounding; the other is strapping, so that core wires are not loose.

The main effect of the outer sheath is to increase the mechanical strength of the power cord, to prevent chemical erosion, moisture, water, and prevent the power cord from burning, etc..
