Product Details

SKIPPER, a very rare book written by Gilbert Watson giving an insight to an old caddies daily life in S. Andrews with the text in true Scottish dialect. Moving stories published by William Blackwood & Sons Edinburgh and London 1906.
The book is in fair condition. The corners are bumped and there is shelf wear to the base of the boards. There is wear to the spine at the top and bottom. New end papers have been fitted to the front and rear by a professional book restorer. There is minor foxing to the edge of the text block and various pages throughout the book but all pages are perfectly legible. Please see image. For the avid golf book collector this is a real gem.
