Introduction:
High Thermal Conductivity Silica Dense Refractory Brick Silica-based heat-insulating refractory bricks refer to
heat-insulating refractory products made of silica as the main raw
material and with an SiO2 content of not less than 91%. In addition
to the thermal insulation properties of silicon refractory bricks,
it maintains the characteristics of silicon bricks to a large
extent. The starting temperature of load softening is high, and the
volume expands slightly during the heating process, which enhances
the integrity of the kiln. The manufacture of siliceous
heat-insulating refractory bricks uses finely pulverized silica as
the raw material, adding part of the waste silica bricks or waste
siliceous heat-insulating refractory brick powder, mineralizers and
burnout additives. Add water to the mixer according to a certain
proportion to mix into a mud, which is formed by mechanical or
manual molding. After the brick is dried, the residual moisture is
less than 0.5% before it can be loaded into the kiln. In order to
prevent the violent volume expansion due to the polycrystalline
transformation of SiO2, causing cracks in the product, a slower
temperature rise and fall speed are required during firing.
