19" 2U 14 Slots or 16 Slots Rack Mount Media Converter Chassis manufactured by ANC International Co., Limited is used for medium and high-density applications in which many copper/fiber pairs need to be integrated, this product provides an excellent way to save space and simplify installation, while allowing for easier management of individual devices. The media converter chassis system has a hot swappable design, meaning that individual media converters can be inserted or removed without shutting down the system.
We have two types of rack-mounted chassis for unmanaged media converters: 2-U 14 slots media converter chassis and 2-U 16 slots media converter chassis .
The 14 slots media converter chassis supports plug-and–play installation of stand-alone media converters convert modules ,can hold at most 14 pieces media converters.
The 16 slots media converter chassis media converter chassis should be used with card-type media converters . The 16 slots media converter chassis can hold at most 16 card-type converters of 10/100M.
The use of chassis-based media converters is a cost effective means in providing fiber connectivity in a campus network. By consolidating Ethernet to fiber conversion in a rack mount media converter chassis, various types of fiber links can be brought into a single wiring closet platform. This simplifies deployment and maintenance and also provides a scalable means to grow your network as needed.
