Product overview

Remaining adhering soil inside the dialysis piping line is an issue that must be solved in order to achieve the dialysis fluid purification target. Its basic cause is assumed to be insufficient detergency of the applied cleaning prescription. In addition, adhering soil is subject to denaturation that “converts it into stubborn soil,” when it is left in the adhering state. As is, it is stubborn by daily cleaning and gives rise to a problem that is difficult to be solved by conventional cleaning techniques.
QCX-500L is a special-purpose cleaner developed to exhibit its instantaneous effect to solve the problem of stubborn adhering soil.

Product features

1. QCX-500L is a cleaner that synergistically exhibits high detergency by compounding with
  Sodiumhypochlorite cleaner, and works wonders in removing stubborn adhering soil in the
  dialysis line.
2. QCX-500L meets the requirements (low corrosiveness, good water-rinsability, high-safety, etc.)
  as a hemodialysis machine cleaner.
3. QCX-500L can be applied at a high dilution ratio and is very economical.
4. QCX-500L can be applied to limited areas (spot treatment) of a place (console) where soil
  adheres.

Application procedures

Directions for use1.Final dilution ratio
 ・The standard is 5-50 times dilution of compounded concentrated
  solution.
 ・The basic chemical component concentration of the final treatment
  liquid is an effective chlorine concentration of sodium hypochlorite
  not less than 600 ppm and QCX-500L (apparent concentration)
  of not less than 1%.
  The final dilution ratio shall be adjusted in accordance with the
  degree of adhering soil.
2. Liquid passing time
 ・About 15 minutes is standard. ※Avoid liquid passage to the ETRF.
3. Contact time
 ・Select contact time from a few hours to overnight immersion system.
 As the standard cleaning method, the overnight immersion system is
 recommended because an improved treatment effect can be expected.
4. Treated liquid temperature
 ・The treatment effect is improved by raising temperature.
  If possible, it is recommended to raise temperature.
5. Water rinsing
 ・After making sure the chlorine concentration in the washing water is
  lower than the detection level, extend water washing time 30%
  longer than the time required for non-detection.
  ※In general, water-washing time of about one hour is required
6. In-line application system
 ①Application system from a feeder
  Prepare a cleaning solution in a chemical tank and clean a large
  number of consoles at the same time. 
 ②Individual console cleaning method
  Inject the prepared cleaning solution into the cleaning console line
  and clean.
  ※Usage differs according to manufacturer and model.

  Water washing for 20 minutes → passing cleaning solution for 15 minutes →
  immersing for 80 minutes → water washing for 20 minutes → water washing for 60 minutes
