Introduction & History

U-shaped glass, also known as channel glass, is a new type of glass
wall material, which is called U-shaped glass due to its "U" shaped
cross-section. This product is mainly made of quartz sand and is
produced through high-temperature melting, rolling forming,
annealing and cooling processes. U-shaped glass originated in
Europe and has a production history of over 50 years. It is one of
the standard products used in large-scale construction projects.
This product has been widely used in Europe and America, and its
domestic application began in the 1990s. With the
internationalization of design, U-shaped glass is currently being
applied in over 20000 construction projects worldwide.With the improvement of tempering and coating technology, U-shaped
glass is no longer a niche product, and its application range is
also becoming increasingly widespread. Among them, constructing
curtain walls in conjunction with lighting is the most common
application.In curtain wall design, it is common to see a type of design that
uses U-shaped glass to package the building body into a luminous
box, full of artistic sense.
