Temperature compensating magnetic alloys
- Temperature compensating iron-nickel alloys are used for
applications where magnetic shunts are used for temperature
compensation
- Most frequently it is used for temperature compensation in energy
meters, speedometers and temperature regulation devices. Even after
very high variations in temperature, no changes have been found in
the magnetic properties of these alloys
- Size range of Temperature compensating magnetic alloys:
- Wire: 0.15mm diameter to 5mm diameter
- Strip: width 1-100mm, thickness: 0.10-5mm
