The description of zirconia ceramic blade
We have developed a high-performance yttrium-reinforced zirconium
oxide ceramic (TZP) for cutting yarns and textiles. It stands out
from other materials with its extremely high cutting edge strength
and excellent flexural strength and hardness. The use of 3Y-TZP
cutters improves efficiency in cutting textile threads, which
ultimately increases profitability.
The ceramic blade is made of zirconia which is a kind of strongest
technical ceramic material with high toughness, excellent wear
resistance, superb chemical inertness properties, also zirconia
ceramic blade is resistant aging, nonconductive and nonmagnetic
than stainless steel ones. These outstanding characteristics result
in much longer service life-time than metal blades.
We have been producing many zirconia ceramic clipper blades,
including YSZ partial stabilized, fully stabilized material,
different size from 1-inch to 4-inch, different colors. All these
