Φ10mm Brass Material Lock Cable Grippers Nickel Finishing With Security Cap

 

 

This Lock cable gripper is made from nickel plated brass and

features a safety lock to provide extra security.

They can be repositioned without damaging the cable and no tools are necessary.

Just unscrew the head(Security Cap), push and slide it.

One hand is sufficient : the grippers are installed wholly without tools and are infinitely adjustable.

 

 

This cable gripper is M6*1 external threaded, 

and best suited to indoor applications with small diameter wires 1.0~1.5mm.

Other sizes and styles can be supplied as well,

Within each cable gripper is a plunger that a cable slides through.

There are three balls that surround the outside diameter of the cable

as it passes through the gripper. When weight is applied to the gripper

when mounted, the tension forces the balls to grab the cable in a pinching movement.

In normal operation the more the tension, the more the gripping. Some grippers come with a safety nut that locks the movement in both directions eliminating the potential for a release if the plunger is accidentally depressed by an end user.

 

How It Works


Aircraft Cable Grippers are sophisticated in design but simple to use:

Insert the cable into the plunger and slide the gripper to the desired position.

Where it stops it locks.To re-adjust, simply depress the plunger with your fingertip

and move the gripper to a new position. Release the plunger to lock.


The 3--ball gripping mechanism is spring-loaded and allows the gripper to move

freely up the cable. It cannot move down unless the plunger is depressed.

 

While there is any weight at all on the gripper, the plunger cannot be depressed.

An optional “safety nut” or “safety cap” can be added to completely lock the mechanism

in both directions. The greater the weight, the stronger it grips.
