Structure Composition

Disposable human arterial blood sample collector (hereinafter referred to as collector) S-3 includes sample clip, pull rod, piston, piston exhaust valve, seal, blood sample needle, needle cover and cubic plastic block. D-3 consists of a sampling rod, pull rod, piston, piston vent valve, seal, blood needle, needle and button ring.

Storage Of Specimens

• Our blood contains respiratory active cells (such as white blood cells and reticulocytes) that continue to consume oxygen to produce CO2 after sampling. When normal arterial blood samples were stored in vitro at 37℃, PACO 2 increased by 1 mm Hg every 10 minutes and pH decreased by 0.01. Therefore, blood must be sent for examination immediately after blood collection. In general, the time from sampling to testing completion should not exceed 30 minutes.

  In case of special circumstances, it cannot be confirmed immediately, it should be stored in ice water container or refrigerator, but the storage time should not exceed 2 hours. Please wait a few minutes at room temperature before measuring. 0.014, PaO2 and PaCO2 also affect pH value with temperature increasing 1℃.

   

Usage Method

1. Human artery was selected and disposable blood collector of human artery was taken out.
2. Pull the rod to the blood volume position for precollection.
3. Pull out the needle, pass it through the artery, and the blood comes out naturally.
4. When arterial blood reaches the preset position, the piston discharge valve closes when wet and pulls the blood collector.
5. Activate the safety device (insert the needle into the plastic cube to avoid squeezing the sheath or accidental puncture) and remove the needle.
6. Tighten the seal and leave for testing.

Precautions, Warnings and Suggestive Instructions

Warning

• They need to collect blood samples for use. Be careful when using blood samples and devices. Please wear qualified rubber gloves to avoid direct contact with blood. Aseptic technique should be used throughout blood collection to prevent infection of blood collection site.
• If there are any bubbles in the collector, remove them immediately and seal the sampler.
• Flip the collector over several times, then rotate the palm back and forth several times to mix the blood evenly.
• Do not store blood samples or reduce storage time. If immediate testing is not possible, it should be stored in a refrigerator at 4°C and blood samples should be tested within 30 minutes of taking blood
