Allen-Bradley 5094-AEN2TR FLEX 5000 series Ethernet adapter module

The 5094-AEN2TR adapter is an RJ 45 enabled Ethernet/IP adapter designed and manufactured by Allen-Bradley. The adapter has been designed to facilitate high-speed data transfer across an Ethernet/IP network between a Flex 5000 Input/Output module and a Logix 5000 controller. This adapter variant can support up to 16 Flex 5000 I/O modules at a time. The adapter is meant to be used in an industrial environment only. It has an open enclosure and it can be used for indoor applications only. It can be mounted using a DIN Rail. A removable terminal block is also available in the adapter. The 5094-AEN2TR adapter is equipped with a reset lever and a DIN Rail latch side by side. The IP address label is placed on the front side of the adapter. There are two RJ 45 Ethernet ports alongside the functional earthing. The Ethernet address of the adapter is also placed with the ports.

The 5094-AEN2TR adapter is also equipped with LED status indicators. The LEDs show the machine status, NET activity, and transfer of data and information by using LINK 1 and LINK 2. It is also equipped with an IP address rotary switch along with the LED indicators. The adapter is certified with the c-UL-us, CE, RCM, KC, and other standards. It supports 18 to 32 Volts DC voltage and a current rating of 1880 milliamps. It supports an inrush current of 5700 milliamps for a time period of 100 milliseconds. The 5094-AEN2TR adapter works with a backplane current of 1800 milliamps and a backplane voltage of 15 Volts DC. The environment should be free from dust and dirt and harmful vapors and gases.
